The 2nd Annual Big Horn Open is going to be bigger than ever with $30,000 CASH PRIZES!

It's happening at the new Big Horn Ski Resort! For the second year running, it will be held during the first two weekends of March, the 6th-7th and 13th-14th. The first weekend will feature the Giant Slalom and Super G Slalom! The second weekend will be the RailJam and Big Air Competition!

Big Horn Ski Resort has quite a few bragging rights! It has been ranked #1 in the State with its Terrain Park and has been Ranked #1 with Big Air Jumps! Big Horn Ski Resort is a great place to ski, but we are especially proud that we have won the rank of #1 Snowboarding Mountain in the State! And with what we will be doing next year, we are well on track to becoming the #1 Snowboarding " Mecca " in the nation.

There is a $30 registration or $20 pre-registration fee for each event that a skier or boarder wishes to enter. There will be a winner in every category for every event and an overall combined winner each weekend. Below are the different events and categories in which the contestants may enter.

Each category has both male and female contestants:

• 1st Week-end: Giant Slalom & Super G Slalom categories both men and women: Ages: over 40. . . 40 to 19. . . 18 to 13. . . 12 to 7. . . 6 & under.
• 2nd Week-end: Rail Jam & Big Air categories both men and women: Ages: over 40. . . 40 to 19. . . 18 to 13. . . 12 to 7. . . 6 & under.
• In each category: 1st Place = $200 Value. 2nd Place = $100 Value. 3rd Place = $ 50 Value.
• In each category for that weekend's combination : 1st Place = $400 Value. 2nd Place = $200 Value. 3rd Place = $100 Value.
• Each week-end the best combination overall : 3rd Runner-up total = $ 500 Value. 2nd Runner-up total = $ 750 Value. Grand Prize Total = $1000 Value.

There will be ski/board product prizes in addition to the cash value prizes, which cn be applied to ski/board rental equipment, Big Horn Ski Resorts Season and/or Day Passes, and/or any of the Big Horn Mountain Resorts lodges, for any season.

The Big Horn Open will draw contestants from around the state as well as out of the state and is open to non-skiing/boarding spectators as well as any and all other skiers and boarders on those days. Spectators as well as skiers and boarders, may come join the fun and excitement and see some of the most spectacular skiing and boarding in the country.

IMPORTANT: Registration is $30 per event you wish to enter on the day or week-end of the event. Pre-Registration is $20 per event you wish to enter but must be received, or mailed and received, by Big Horn Ski Resort or Meadowlark Lake Resort no later then the Friday before the event. A donation of the first $500 collected will be given to the Big Horn Mountain Alpine Race Team - USSA.
