- Bozeman Trail: On this trail are the sites where the American Indians fought some of the most courageous and daring battles in attempt to stop the advancing white man.
- Indian Battles: The Fetterman Massacre, The Wagon Box Fight, The HayStack Battle , The Battle of Little Big Horn (Custer's Last Stand).
- Hole In The Wall: This is where Butch Cassidy & The
Sundance Kid hid to escape the law. When authorities couldn't
stop their train-robbing ways, the train company hired the
Pinkerton group to hunt them down. To find out if the bounty
hunters got their men, you'll have to come out west and
learn for yourself!
- Heroes & Legends: The history of many of our western heroes & legends has been written near and around the Big Horns. Learn more about Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, Wild Bill Hitchcock, Calamity Jane and many others.
- Pre-Historic Dinosaurs: Dinosaurs roamed the Big Horns. You can clearly see their tracks and check out dig sites in western Wyoming .
- Pre-Historic Natives: Nomadic people roamed the land, following the herds of animals they hunted. You can actually see where they lived, their primitive writings on the rocks (called Petroglyphs), and their Astronomical sites.
