
Many do not realize that the Big Horns contain one of the best white water rafting areas in the country. Late in spring, the rapids are a Class 5, but through the summer they taper down to a Class 2 or 1. As the summer progresses and the water warms and slows, tubing the same river becomes a completely different experience.
The rapids roar down the mountain for over 10 miles. It is truly one of the most challenging and exhilarating white water rapids in the country, offering the ride of your life!
Here is an approximate run schedule:
May 15 = Class 3-4
June 1 = Class 5
June 15 = Class 4
July 1 = Class 3
July 15 = Class 2
August = Class 1+
